No Show
Sorry boys & girls there was no show this week. Came down will a case of laryngitis so I sound like a cross between Minnie Mouse and someone who has been smoking 3 packs a day since birth. Hopefully I'll be better by next week. Until then, don't miss me too much.

I'M BACK
Sorry I've been away for awhile. Blogger was giving me issues and wouldn't let me post. But I'm back and better than ever.
So let's see .....
Diva J graced us with her presence. She's been M.I.A last couple of weeks but promises she'll be here from now on.
This week we were supposed to do a phone interview with D. Rich about his modeling career and how he got his start but unfortunately he was unable to do it at the last minute so when have to reschedule.
We spent the hour talking about all things entertainment. We touched on Diddy only wanting "light-skinned African American" women for his new Ciroc Vodka ads and the fact that no one on his label makes money because he takes it from them. We then played a tribute song to the forgot BadBoy group Dream.
We talked about some people accusing Justin Timberlake of objectifying black women in his music and videos. Diva J and I both agreed that that is a stretch and that people are just over analyzing things.
We had a give away for the first time. DJ Melo was nice enough to give us a few posters and Cd's to give away to the audience. We made it into a trivia game where the first caller to tell us what the name of the group that Bobby Valentino belonged to before he went solo and then name of their hit single would receive a nice poster and CD combo. unfortunately no one called in so we'll just have to save it for next time.
We ended the show by talking about Kobe Bryant's housekeeper suing him because his wife is apparently crazy and verbally and mentally abused her. I also the to explained to Diva J what the "If U Seek Amy" song means. I still don't think she gets it.
Next week we'll be taking a break from the gossip to touch on the popular subject of interracial dating. Should be interesting.
Until Next Time ... Peace Out Homies

Flying Solo
Afternoon Everyone!!
Flash here again updating you on yesterdays show. Diva J wasn't able to make it so I was left to my own devices. I talked a little about my weekend and my non-romantic Valentines Day. Spent VDay with my family because it was my older brother Marc birthday. On Sunday I went into the city to see "He's just not that into you" If you have the $9-12 to spend I recommend this movie. Very funny and very insightful. I played music for most of the show. I talked about the upcoming Oscars and some gossip bits. Next week Diva J will be back and we'll have a great show for you. Until next time PEACE OUT EVERYBODY!!!!!

Grammy Recap!!
Hello boys & girls ..... Flash here updating you on this weeks show. It was all about the Grammy's. We covered some of the winners and loser and our favorite performances. We touched on M.I.A. nearly giving birth on stage while performing "Swagger Like Us" in her crazy polka dot stretch outfit. Last but not least we discussed the alleged domestic violence dispute between Chris Brown and Rihanna.
UPDATE: M.I.A. posted on her Myspace that she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy this past Wednesday.
"Sunday nite I came home from The Grammys still in the mood to party," she wrote. "I coulda easily gone out but I went home instead. Lucky I did! Coz my early stage labour kicked in around 2 a.m."
No word on what his name is. Congrats to M.I.A.
